The Shipton's Arch visit is a 1 day tour.  It is about 75 kilometers from Kashgar and you will travel there in a 4x4 vehicle.  It takes about 1.5 hours to arrive to the beginning point of hiking and then about another 1.5 hours of hiking to reach the arch.  You will climb up 5 ladders (tallest being about 12m in height) along the way.  On the way back, stop and visit a local Uyghur family in a village for dinner.

Visit this arch while you can, due to nature's wearing on the rocks this arch may disappear sometime this century!

This one day tour takes about 8 hours.
